Welcome to the Michigan Archers Association!

The Michigan Archers Association (MAA) is dedicated to providing All Archery for ALL  Archers in the state of Michigan.  Our mission is to promote and foster the practice of organized archery through tournaments and events.

The MAA is governed by its Executive Officers and Board of Directors in conjunction with its Constitution and Bylaws.  The Board of Directors is made up of representatives from multiple regional organizations and archery clubs.  Regional organizations are defined and displayed on a Michigan County Map in MAA-Appendix A  of the MAA Rules.   The MAA Charters of Affiliated Clubs  is a listing of  chartered clubs by Region.  A listing of all Officers and Board of Directors can be found on the Contacts page.

The MAA is a chartered state with the National Field Archery Association (NFAA) and as such, holds annual Spring and Fall meetings to keep regional organizations and members informed of changes in the rules of competition in the MAA, NFAA and other national organizations.   Members are individuals qualified to belong to the MAA and the NFAA.  See the Forms & Documents page for MAA membership applications.

The MAA holds three indoor and four outdoor tournaments each year.   State tournaments are coordinated and held at various regional associations and their affiliated clubs on a rotational basis, as determined at the annual Fall Meeting.  See Tournament Info for helpful information on holding and/or competing in State tournaments.

To see an overview or detailed list of scheduled MAA tournaments visit the Events page.   Results of all tournaments and Shooter of the Year are updated and posted on the Tournament Results page as soon as possible.  State records are maintained for each  State shoot and can be viewed on the State Records pages.

MAA Sponsors and Supporting Archery Shops assist the MAA in its mission to provide and foster the practice of organized archery.  See the Sponsors page for a link to their ads and websites.  For information on how to become a Sponsor or Supporting shop see the Forms & Documents page.

The Archery in Michigan magazine is a quarterly MAA publication that contains information on archery in the state of Michigan.  It includes minutes and discussion items from the quarterly MAA meetings, MAA schedules and results, and more.  Current and past publications can be found on the Publications page.
